Group basketball training sessions are separated by clusters of three grade levels and designed to allow players to improve their individual and team skill set. Group sessions basketball training is for players of all skill levels. Vancouver Elite coaches are asked to challenge each player within the group according to his or her level of skill.
If you’re looking to train in a positive atmosphere, with friends, working on skills and competing against others, group training is for you. Our one-hour group basketball training sessions are limited to 10 players per group. We offer one grind basketball session per week for 8 weeks.
Our basketball training sessions in Vancouver, BC are based on the basics of the game. Vancouver Elite coaches guide players to absorb the fundamentals in a fun and challenging environment. We focus on the details while teaching the game so that eventually, it becomes muscle memory.
Players will always get the opportunity to bring their newly learned concepts and skills to a game-like situation. Vancouver Elite coaches foster a controlled, competitive environment while also valuing team-like language and conduct.
A typical basketball training session for grades 2 - 4 is co-ed. It includes ball handling, passing, around the basket finishes, team concepts, shooting form/ technique, defense and more.
